Who we are
Focus Investigations has a network of agents around the country, led by Focus' Director, Dave Honiss.
He served 27 years in the NZ Police, half of this time as a Detective Sergeant in south Auckland, before retiring to establish Focus Investigations
He has led hundreds of serious crime investigations, and is uniquely qualified at the Advanced level in both Child Protection and Adult Sexual Assault matters. His ability to decisively analyse a case and provide a clear way forward is what makes the difference for his clients.
His accuracy and determination to seek the truth, whatever that may be, was a key to his success in many trials in the High, District and Youth Courts. More than that, it was crucial to ensuring that charges were only laid when there was an evidential basis for doing so.
As an experienced employment investigator and qualified Health and Safety investigator, Dave has the capability to get to the heart of employment issues and find the right solution.
